Conseils pour en tirer le meilleur parti

Small Shifts, Big Difference

  • This is an "intensive" for real reasons — it takes stamina, sustained focus, and the ability to integrate movement in the moment. Preparing with the videos and articles beforehand makes a real difference in how ready you'll feel.

  • This isn't a passive experience — no sitting back and watching a demonstration. You're expected to stay present, connected, and in real dialogue with your teacher throughout.

  • Don't expect a string of corrections like a private lesson. Teachers are there to dance and explore with you, not to correct you constantly — that's what makes the learning actually stick.

  • Know your own motivation for being here. It's the fuel behind your attention and your progress, so don't underestimate what you personally want out of this intensive.

  • Fill out the questionnaires we send beforehand — they help us shape the intensive around what you bring, not just what we've already planned.

  • Value your own questions, especially the ones that surface once you start moving rather than right at the beginning. Jot them down so you can bring them back to a teacher, or to Tomás.

  • Notice your "aha" moments and write them down — those small realizations are worth holding onto and coming back to later in your learning.

  • Look for little pockets of practice during the intensive itself, and take notes along the way. Practicing consciously is what makes what you learn truly stay with you.
