What to expect
Inside a typical day
Our format is different from anything you've likely experienced in tango before — it's not a group class, not a seminar, not a private lesson. It's its own thing.
Mornings are yours. Rest, wander, do whatever you need so you arrive ready for the work ahead.
Every day opens with a light, guided warm-up — one of the most loved parts of the intensive, and you'll feel why fast once you're dancing.
The tango session that follows runs about an hour and 45 minutes, and we bookend it with social dancing — because at the end of the day, that's what we're all here for.
You'll spend the whole session dancing with professional teachers, each bringing something a little different. No need to think about switching partners — the teachers guide that for you.
The little things — transitions, ice breakers, quick games — aren't filler. They help you settle in, absorb what you're learning, and shake off the tension tango can bring up.
Tomás is around the whole time — to answer a question, try a move with you, or just check in as you move between teachers.
